Aluminum die casting process

Process design → Tooling design → mold assembly → melting and pouring → mold opening → cutting → shot blasting → polishing → shot blasting → Inspection → Machining → inspection packaging.

Aluminum die casting is an efficient metal casting process, by injecting molten aluminum alloy into the mold under high pressure and high speed, quickly produce complex shape parts with accurate dimensions and smooth surfaces.

Aluminum die casting process mainly includes the following steps:
Aluminum die casting process
  • 01

Melting and preparing the aluminum alloy

First, the aluminum alloy blocks are placed in a furnace and heated to a molten state. During the melting process, other metallic elements may be added to form specific alloys to improve the mechanical properties and fluidity of the casting.

  • 02

    Injection

The molten aluminum alloy is injected into the injection system of the die casting machine. Die casting machines usually use a hydraulic or mechanically driven plunger to push molten metal into the cavity of the mold at high speed. Due to the high pressure, the aluminum alloy is able to fill fine features in the mold, resulting in complex designs.

  • 03

    Cooling and solidification

The metal cools and solidifies rapidly in the mold. Due to the high thermal conductivity of aluminum, it can quickly harden into a solid form. Molds are usually made of high-strength steel that can withstand high pressures and temperatures while rapidly dissipating heat to help the metal solidify.

  • 04

    Mold opening and casting removal

Once the aluminum alloy is fully set, the die casting machine will open the mold. The casting can then be removed from the mold. This process may involve automated mechanical or manual pick-up operations.

  • 04

    Dressing and cleaning

castings usually have excess metal parts such as sprue, riser and flash after removal. These parts need to be removed by trimming, sanding or other machining methods. In addition, castings may also undergo a sandblasting or cleaning process to improve surface quality.

  • 04

    Post-treatment

Castings may require heat treatment, surface treatment (such as coating, anodizing, etc.) or other processing steps to achieve the performance requirements of the final product.

Sheet metal processing technology

Design and layout → cutting →stamping →Bending → welding → surface treatment→assemble→ Inspection → inspection packaging.

Sheet metal machining is a comprehensive manufacturing technique involving sheet metal, primarily used to produce metal parts of precise size and shape. This process is widely used in a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, electronics, construction and more.

Sheet metal processing usually involves the following key steps:
Sheet metal processing technology
  • 01

    1. Design and layout

The first step in sheet metal processing is design, which is carried out using CAD (computer aided design) software. Designers will create detailed engineering drawings according to requirements, including dimensions, bending lines and cutting lines. These drawings ensure the precision and efficiency of the machining process.

  • 02

    2. Cutting

Cutting is the initial step in sheet metal processing, the purpose is to cut large sheet metal into small pieces for subsequent processing. Common cutting techniques include laser cutting, plasma cutting, water cutting and shearing. Laser cutting is widely used in precision manufacturing because of its high precision and speed.

  • 03

    3. Press

The stamping process involves placing metal sheets into a punching machine and pressing the material using a die (otherwise known as a die) to form a specific shape. Stamping can include operations such as punching, bending and deep drawing.

  • 04

    4. Bending

Bending is a common step in sheet metal processing and is usually done using a bending machine. By applying force to a metal plate, it bends around a point or line to form the desired Angle and shape.

  • 04

    5. Welding

Welding is used to join together two or more metal parts that have been cut and shaped. Common welding techniques include TIG welding, MIG welding and spot welding, which welding method you choose depends on the type of material and the requirements of the end product.

  • 04

    6. Surface treatment

In order to improve the appearance and corrosion resistance of the finished product, it is usually necessary to surface the sheet metal parts. This may include sanding, polishing, painting or plating. The surface treatment not only enhances the beauty of the product, but also improves its durability and corrosion resistance.

  • 04

    7. Assembly

The final step is assembly, which combines multiple sheet metal parts into the final product. This step may require additional screws to be fixed, glued, or re-welded to ensure that all components are firmly attached to meet the requirements of use.

  • 04

Sheet metal processing is a technology that involves multiple precision steps and requires a high degree of precision and technical proficiency. From design to final assembly, every step requires precise control to ensure that the final product meets quality standards and customer expectations. In modern manufacturing, the importance of sheet metal processing is becoming increasingly prominent, which allows us to produce complex, beautifully designed and powerful metal products.

CNC machining technology

CNC machining is a precision manufacturing process that uses computer numerical control technology to control machine tools to achieve accurate cutting and forming of metals, plastics and other materials. The entire process begins with the creation of a detailed 3D CAD model that specifies in detail the size and shape of the part to be manufactured. These designs are then translated by CAM (computer-aided Manufacturing) software into specific instructions or programs that the machine can understand and execute. After receiving these instructions, the machine automatically performs cutting, drilling, milling and other operations to precisely manufacture the designed parts. This automated process not only improves production efficiency, but also greatly improves the consistency and quality of parts.

We have first-class production equipment, CNC lathe, automatic lathe, end milling machine as the main horizontal productivity; Drilling machine, tapping machine, engraving machine, rolling machine and other processing auxiliary machines. Have a wealth of design, excellent products of engineers, technicians and skilled workers. The staff is well trained, master the production technology and equipment operation skills of shaft accessories. It can be manufactured for customers to draw samples, from production to various surface treatment processes, etc., to give customers 100% confidence.

Silica sol precision casting technology

Silica sol precision casting technology

Process design → Tooling design → wax injection → shape repair → tree assembling → Shell making → dewaxing → melting and pouring → cutting → grinding and straightening → Heat treatment → sandblasting and pickling → Inspection → Machining → inspection and packaging.

The silica sol forging process, also known as silica sol casting or precision casting, is a technique for manufacturing precision metal parts. The process begins by making a wax model that is the same shape as the final product. These wax molds are then assembled into a "tree", coated with silica sol and quartz sand, and repeated many times to build a thick enough ceramic shell. After completing the shell construction, the wax mold is removed by heating, leaving the cavity. The molten metal is then poured into these preheated ceramic molds, filled with cavities and cooled to form. Finally, the broken ceramic housing takes out the casting and performs the necessary cleaning and post-treatment to achieve the required product specifications.

This process can produce castings with complex shapes and high precision, and is widely used in aerospace, medical equipment, automobiles and other fields.

Silica sol forging process has become the preferred casting method in many high-end manufacturing fields due to its high precision and good surface quality. This technology can produce near-net castings with almost no mechanical processing, greatly saving material and production costs.
